Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Make Ready / Maintenance Technician to join our team who is dependable with dependable transportation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in preparing units for move in, ensuring everything is painted, clean, repaired and in working condition before move-in. The Maintenance Technician will also play a key role in providing excellent customer service.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs.
- Prepares residential units for new tenants by completing necessary repairs, cleaning, and maintenance tasks to ensure unit is in move-in condition.
- Thorough cleaning, addressing issues (like fixing leaky pipes or unclogging drains), and ensuring the property is in good working condition.
- Paint, replace flooring, patch work on walls, replace appliances.
- Must be able to work as a team and individually.
- Must have dependable transportation to and from work.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
- Proficient in basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry task is often required.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, capable of supervising maintenance teams effectively.
- Extensive mechanical knowledge, with hands-on experience in facilities maintenance.
- The ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently is crucial.
