40% of your time on Social Media Management
Helping the Internal Team by brainstorming and creating social media content
Making plans to increase following on True Chicago Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter
Staying in the loop with all the latest social media trends
Snapping pics and videos at events for our stories
Putting together weekly and monthly schedules for True Chicago on social media
Commenting back to comments and DMs online
60% Graphic Design
Design exciting content for various marketing materials like website, social media, video, and online advertising
Collaborate with our team to bring ideas to life
Use your design skills to create eye-catching graphics for social media, websites, marketing materials, and more.
Have the freedom to express your creativity and bring new, exciting ideas to the table.
Requirements
Excellent internet research skills
Knowledge & experience of the major social media platforms including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, and Linkedin
Some knowledge of social media analytics software to track audience engagement and campaign performance
Some experience with content management systems, word processor applications, and image/video editing software is a plus
Exceptional writing skills
Passionate about (copy)writing
Looking to build a career in copywriting and/or social media management
A keen eye for detail and appreciation of great design
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Excellent organizational skills and multitasking abilities
Copywriting experience a plus
Social media or content marketing experience a plus
Compensation: Stipend of $500, approximately 3-5 hours per week from
