What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guest Service Representative/Spa Receptionist position at Kneaded Relief Day Spa & Wellness?
Who: We are looking for someone who has great communication skills, and is friendly, responsible, and reliable to fill our open guest service position. You will be the face of the company at our front desk and around the spa and work with a team of awesome people from all different backgrounds.
What: Guest Service Representatives are in charge of booking clients in person and over the phone, checking guests in and out for their services, and maintaining the cleanliness of the spa (including laundry and light cleaning). You will answer guests' questions and provide support to our therapists.

Training usually lasts two to three weeks to make sure you are confident and comfortable answering guest calls and questions. However, you are never on your own - all guest service shifts are scheduled with at least one other team member to divide tasks and provide support.
When: We are currently looking for a permanent part-time candidate including evenings and weekends. This is not a summer only position. At a minimum, you MUST be able to work the shifts listed below but hours may vary based on availability of other teammates. We are not on a convenient bus line so you will need a car for transportation.
HOURS AVAILABLE:
Monday: 8:00-4:30
Tuesday: 8:00-4:30
Wednesday: 8:00-4:30 or 10:00-6:00
Thursday: 8:00-4:30 or 10:00-6:00
Friday: 8:00-4:30
Sunday: 12:00-5:00 every week or biweekly
Different shifts may be available depending on your availability and flexibility of other team members.
Compensation: STARTING pay $14.51/hour. Benefits include discounted services and retail products, complimentary annual services valued at over $1,400, monthly gift certificates to use on services, and health, dental, and vision insurance available for full time team members. Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on communication and interpersonal interactions
- Proficient in cash handling and operating cash registers
- Experience in retail sales and merchandising
- Basic math skills for accurate transactions and inventory management
- Familiarity with POS systems and phone etiquette
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively
