Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Auto BodyCollision Detailer to join our Rancho Cordova team. The Collision Detailer will play a key role in ensuring vehicles are spotless and ready for customer delivery after repairs. You will collaborate with our repair and paint teams to ensure every vehicle looks and feels like new.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Detailing: Perform interior and exterior detailing of vehicles after collision repairs, including washing, waxing, polishing, vacuuming, and removing any dust or debris.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect vehicles for any remaining dirt, damage, or imperfections and ensure all repairs meet our high standards before customer delivery.
- Touch-Ups: Apply minor paint touch-ups, polish headlights, and address any cosmetic issues that enhance the vehicles overall appearance.
- Customer Experience: Work with the team to ensure vehicles are returned to customers in pristine condition, enhancing their overall experience with Kniesels Collision.
- Maintenance: Keep detailing area, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and in good working condition.
- Support Technicians:When necessary, assist repair technicians with prep work, such as masking, taping, and sanding.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain an adequate supply of detailing products and tools.
- Additional Duties: Carry out additional tasks and responsibilities as directed by the production manager or general manager.
Skills and Requirements:
- Prior experience in automotive detailing or a related field is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to excellence.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of automotive cleaning products and procedures.
- A valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
- Physical capability to stand, kneel, bend for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
