What are the responsibilities and job description for the Screed Operator position at Knife River Corporation - NW?
- Perform assigned task on paving crew as directed. This may include various equipment operations and laboring
- Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed
- Other duties assigned as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Previous experience or background in all types of asphalt paving, i.e., streets, highways, parking lots and small commercial projects
- Ability to bend, stoop, lift, push and be on your feet for long periods of time, in all weather conditions
- Class A CDL with tanker helpful or the ability to obtain one
- Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, physical/functional exam and drug screen
- Ability to work flexible shifts which include: days, nights, weekends and overtime
- Display a professional and courteous attitude towards all team members and customers
