At Knife River Materials we are hiring a Groundman. In this role, you’ll perform general clean up and housekeeping duties at the asphalt plant.
Major Job Responsibilities will include:
- Use a shovel, rake and other hand tools to perform general clean-up and maintenance duties at and around the plant.
- Assist with minor repairs of the plant and surrounding structures.
- Other general laborer duties as assigned.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Prior work experience in construction or groundman duties around large batch plants or similar.
- Prior experience operating a loader, preferred but not required.
- Work history that reflects dependability.
- Desire to work outside with your hands.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions, walk on uneven ground and lift up to 75lbs occasionally and 50lbs frequently throughout the work shift.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history.
- Some weekends and overtime will be required.
