Plumbing Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumbing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems and be capable of performing a variety of tasks related to installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.
• Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
• Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues.
• Collaborate with construction teams on remodeling projects to ensure plumbing is correctly integrated.
• Troubleshoot plumbing problems and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area on construction sites.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively.
• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately.
• Experience in remodeling projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety practices.
• Proficient in assembling various plumbing components for efficient installation.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.17 - $40.46 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• On call

Supplemental Pay:
