Knight Barry Title is seeking a dedicated Commercial Assistant to join our team in De Pere, WI!
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answer phones and assist customers as they arrive in the office
- Enter new orders into the database
- Create new files for the closing department.
- Assist with post-closing & construction scanning.
- Process payments and submit closing documents for recording.
- Process Mail/Fedex for the closing / construction department.
- Request zoning letters and/or municipality letters and setting up final water readings
- Complete Title Updates for closing files and construction files
- Complete simple title search on properties
- Perform other various administrative duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Analytical ability sufficient to perform varied and short-term tasks requiring concentration, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively with others, meet deadlines, and perform routine tasks promptly.
- Ability to operate office machines such as a copier, calculator, reader/printer, or other similar equipment.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally, in writing, in person, and by telephone.
- In-depth knowledge of real estate transactions and title searching is preferred, including the ability to extrapolate data from transactional real estate documents and navigate GIS land mapping.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSING
- High school graduation/equivalent with a minimum of two years of experience in the real estate industry.
