Job Title: Cabinet Maker / Furniture Maker

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled cabinet maker to join our team! The cabinet maker will be responsible for constructing, installing, and at times repairing custom cabinets and other furniture pieces. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential and possibly commercial settings, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine materials required and methods to be used in the construction of cabinets and furniture
- Operate woodworking machinery, such as an CNC router, edge bander, belt sander etc. as well as various hand tools, and power tools to cut, shape, and form parts and components of cabinets and furniture
- Assemble and install cabinets, doors, drawers, and hardware, ensuring a precise fit and alignment
- Sand, stain, and finish completed products, using various tools and techniques including a spray booth
- Repair existing cabinets and furniture as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols and guidelines
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 3-5 years of experience in cabinet making or related field is preferred
- Proficient in woodworking techniques and equipment operation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs.)
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions (if working on job sites)
