Job Description

Rev up your career with an exciting opportunity as a Dealership Porter in our fast-paced Sales Department! As the first point of contact for our customers, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring their experience starts off on the right track. You'll be responsible for staging vehicles for customer appointments, supporting the internet department in the delivery process of vehicle sales, and providing essential support to create an exceptional customer journey. Additionally, this position will play a role in our service cross-traffic department. Customers from our service department who express interest in getting their vehicle appraised will be introduced to our used car manager for an in-person appraisal. If they express interest in one of our new or preowned vehicles, they will be introduced to our internet sales department. Key Responsibilities

• Vehicle Staging: Prepare and stage vehicles for customer appointments, ensuring each vehicle is clean and presentable.
• Customer Experience: Greet customers and ensure their initial interaction with the dealership is positive and welcoming.
• Delivery Support: Assist the internet department with the delivery process of sold vehicles, ensuring a seamless handover to customers.
• Lot Organization: Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the dealership lot, including moving and parking vehicles as needed.
• Support Functions: Provide general support to the sales and internet departments, helping with various tasks to enhance the overall customer experience.
• Service Cross-Traffic Department: Introduce customers from our service department to the used car manager for in-person vehicle appraisals or to the internet sales department for new or preowned vehicle inquiries.

• Customer Service Skills: Strong ability to engage with customers and ensure a positive experience.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to keep the dealership lot well-organized and efficiently manage multiple tasks.
• Team Player: Willingness to support various departments and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring all vehicles are presented to a high standard and ready for customer appointments.
• Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.49 - $19.70 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
