Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Mixologists, Servers, Host/Hostess to join our vibrant Gastropub & Banquet team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food and beverage industry, with a flair for crafting unique cocktails and providing exceptional customer service. As a Mixologist, you will be responsible for creating memorable experiences for our guests through innovative drink offerings and engaging interactions.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including food, cocktails, wines, and specialty drinks.
- Maintain an organized bar area, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Engage with customers to provide recommendations and tailor drink selections to their preferences.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary to ensure availability.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate drink pairings with menu items.
- Utilize Aloha POS system for order processing, payment handling, and tracking sales.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills during peak service hours to ensure timely delivery of drinks.
- Adhere to all food handling and safety guidelines in accordance with local regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food service or hospitality industry is preferred, with a focus on bartending or mixology.
- Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail recipes, along with an understanding of retail math for inventory management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also thriving independently during busy shifts.
- Experience in catering or banquet settings is advantageous but not required.
