What are the responsibilities and job description for the Package Delivery Driver Associate position at Knight Delivery, Inc.?
Knight Delivery Inc., is an independent service provider for FedEx Ground. We are currently hiring full-time delivery drivers. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes working every Saturday or every other Saturday. Requirements include a clean driving record, pass a criminal background check, and be at least 21 years of age. While driving experience is encouraged, it is not required, driver training will be provided. Must be able to pass a D.O.T physical exam and drug screen. CDL NOT REQUIRED. Responsibilities
- Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes in eastern northern Wisconsin
- Execute routes efficiently and with quality customer satisfaction
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
- Maintain delivery vehicle, and communicate immediately to Fleet Managers any concerns or issues
- Communicate any and all customer complaints or concerns to management as they occur
- Proper use of daily electronic gear and equipment (iPads & Zebra scanners)
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
Skills
- Desired - working experience as a Delivery Driver
- Valid professional driver’s license
- Ability to operate delivery vehicle in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
- Excellent customer service & interaction skills
- Good driving record with no traffic violations
- High school degree
