JOB TITLE : Production Engineer
DEPARTMENT : Engineering
REPORTS TO : Engineering Manager
PURPOSE OF POSITION : Support Knight's Armament Company by designing component and assemblies for firearms; ammunition handling systems and firearm accessories with the intent on providing new products for KAC.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE :
- 4 Years Engineering Degree with demonstrated CAD capability. Relevant experience may be substituted for Degree.
- Experience in 3-D CAD design and other engineering analysis software. ANSI-Y-14.5 drawing terms and tolerances.
- Familiarity with metal and plastics forming techniques.
- Demonstrated / documented experience in design projects (cradle to grave) multiple components and assemblies.
