JOB SUMMARY
The front desk clerk/receptionist performs routine clerical, secretarial and administrative work in answering telephones, receiving the public, providing customer assistance, data processing, and record-keeping
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Staff reception desk during business hours, answer telephones, greet visitors, etc.
- Visitor Management – maintain visitor log, temporary badging, staff notification, escorting, etc
- Notifies company personnel of visitor arrival
- Create guest WIFI’s for employees and their guest
- Keep inventory of office supplies
- Maintains security by following procedures, monitoring logbook, and issuing visitor badges.
- Keeps a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Contributes to team effort by assisting company personnel as needed.
- Issue key cards and/or key fobs to new employees, permanent visitor, AUS visitors
- Issue validation stickers for visitor parking (Tyson’s Office Only)
- Collect parking passes, technology and after hours’ fobs from departing employees
- Input Facilities Help Desk requests (Maximo tickets) for issues brought to their attention
- Preparing items for inter-office courier
- Mail and package distribution (including logging and notification)
- Manage Ergo Equipment request and delivery
- Manage postage machine usage; manage outgoing mail and packages
- Maintain copy rooms – keep orderly, tidy, refill paper, etc.
- Maintain conference rooms – water pitchers, chair placement, A/V, consumables
- Arrange and coordinate all catering, including monthly lunches and other events
- Re-stock coffee supplies, food in kitchen and around the office
- Daily start of coffee machines and maintenance during the day
- Order and distribute fruit
- Re-stock office supply cabinets, stationery and copy rooms
- Distribute new copies and remove old copies (Newspapers and magazines)
- Process business card requests and distribute to employees
- Conference room scheduling and booking assistance
- Silverline Center Conference Center room bookings via Building Engines
- Manage Tyson’s Office locker assignments and keys
- Notify Facilities Manager of any inquires or issues brought to their attention using Facilities Help Desk service request (ticket) – (Tyson’s sub-lease only)
- Direct business-related inquires to the Manager, Procurement and Corporate Services – (Tyson’s sub-lease only)

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS of WORK
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Relevant work experience in a similar position
