Position Description:
Tactical Internet System Technician / Helpdesk provides service and support for 21st (Airborne) Infantry Division Network Operations Center (DNOC) at Ft. Johnson, LA
Requirements:- Manage and maintain Mission Command (MC) client computers and provide helpdesk support for JRTC rotational training.
- Configure, manage, and maintain the MC clients JCR/JBCP and various Commercial of the Shelf (COTS) equipment and software in support of JRTC rotational mission requirements.
- Conduct trouble ticket analysis and troubleshooting when required as part of the helpdesk in support of JRTC rotational mission requirements.
- Provide recommendations and assistance to Division and Brigade level clients when required in troubleshooting and system configurations.
- Coordinate and provide technical training to Division and Brigade level units prior and during rotational training.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) updates IAW Dept. of Defense (DoD) Information Systems Standards and Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) policies. Review and process System Authorization Access Request (SAAR); create and update Active Directory (AD) accounts for users when required.
- Conduct monthly Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) to MC client computers and report deficiencies appropriately.
Qualifications:
- Security clearance or must be able to obtain a security clearance.
- CompTIA Security CE required.
- Mission Command experience; Microsoft Credentials; CompTIA A certification is a plus.
