Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC)
Cybersecurity services are required for the sustainment of JRTC enterprise Authorization to Operate (ATO) renewal effort, and to provide security monitoring and access control to key facilities within the JRTC IS enterprise.
Operate all aspects of Information Systems (IS) data availability, integrity, authentication, confidentiality, and non- repudiation. Implement and monitor security measures for communication systems, networks, and provide advice that systems and personnel adhere to established security standards and Governmental requirements for security on these systems. Develop and execute Government approved security policies, plans, and procedures; implement data network security measures; operate and monitor network intrusion detection and forensic systems; conduct IS security incident handling; support Continuity of Operations.
Responsibilities :
Ensure all company employees working cybersecurity / IT functions and / or requiring privileged access must comply with DOD and Army training requirements in DoDD 8570.01, DOD 8570.01-M and AR 25-2 at contract award (to include DoD 8140 when published). JRTC has a requirement to maintain DoD Information Assurance / Cyber Security compliance. This effort includes the tasks and Accreditation Process in support of Risk Management Framework (RMF) for the JRTC integrated tactical network.
Additional Duties :
- Cybersecurity Policy & Incident Management – Prevent and report violations of cybersecurity policies and incidents using GFE computers.
- Vulnerability Assessments & Risk Analysis – Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk analysis for JRTC, RTU, and training unit equipment, covering classified and unclassified systems.
- Cybersecurity Compliance & Standards – Implement DoD cybersecurity policies, ensuring operational resilience, continuous monitoring, and risk management in line with NIST SP 800-30 and RMF requirements.
- Threat Monitoring & Reporting – Identify, update, and verify system vulnerabilities using ACAS, NESSUS, or physical checks, and report findings to PM / COR.
- Security Solutions & Implementation – Recommend and implement cybersecurity solutions to meet customer and operational requirements.
- Training & Awareness – Track and ensure compliance with cybersecurity training requirements per DoDD 8140.3.
- Disaster Recovery & Continuity – Collaborate with JRTC Operations Group security officer and ISM to develop, maintain, and test disaster recovery procedures.
