New Account Administrator (NAA) : The NAA is responsible to support the sales team by handling the processing aspects of securing new clients. This is an entry-level job, and training will be provided.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities :
- Build new client accounts in Epic.
Create new accounts in Epic.
Complete all necessary contact fields.Enter appropriate activities.Add new policies.Quote, propose, and issue.Learn personal insurance policies and related underwriting (auto, home, umbrella, etc.).
Use various carrier websites.Quote personal insurance policies using PL Rater.Prepare insurance proposals.Check new policies for accuracy and mail to client.Assist Account Managers.Assist Account Managers with various duties, including insurance summaries, preparing emails / letters to insureds.Other duties may be assigned as needed.Work with Producers.Work closely with producer to obtain all necessary documentation and track all prospects in Opportunities.
Meet regularly to check-in on outstanding items.Follow procedures.Document electronic file completely and thoroughly.
Utilize agency's latest technology to perform tasks.Turn around work in 48 hours.Back up receptionist, as necessary.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Proactive, can-do attitude...with a smile. The assistant is available for help when requested.Computer skills. The assistant uses the latest technology, has skills in Microsoft Office, and network directory functions.Professionalism and accuracy. Requests are done accurately the first time and corrected in a timely fashion. Follow-ups are current.Willingness to learn. Insurance knowledge is not required for this position to start. Long-term, an agent's license will be required.Attention to detail. The NAA will be responsible for completing carrier applications and other required forms. A detailed review that all the appropriate fields are completed is essential.Organizational skills. Top-notch organizational skills are required for success in this position. The NAA is expected to maintain order of every account and establish a weekly work plan to stay current.Requirements :
High School diploma.College education or equivalent insurance experience preferred.Working Conditions :
