Description
Knight Material Technologies, LLC, has an immediate career opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team based in Humble, TX. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects involving the installation of Knight's proprietary lining systems for chemical processing and mining applications and will support Project leadership in gathering information and resources to execute company projects. Main duties include maintaining scheduling, budgeting, and ensuring all deadlines are met while maintaining compliance in all functions.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, procurement, construction, and accounting functions to provide a timely completion of projects, while maximizing profit, maintaining safety and quality
- Build relationships and communication with customers during contract execution
- Support and collaborate with Knight’s field installation crew during lining installation activities
- Estimate cost of proposed projects, and review proposal before it's issued to the customer
Requirements

- Associate degree in Construction, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or job certification for field construction experience.
- 5 Years’ experience in Construction based business
- 5 Years’ experience in Project Management
- Must be physically capable of confined space entry in chemical process vessels
- Proficient Microsoft Office and Project software
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Field Construction Experience
- Construction safety knowledge
- Familiarity with OSHA, TWIC, or ASME pressure vessel
- Knowledge related to steel vessel fabrication, specialty linings or refractory systems
- Bachelor's degree in Construction, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- 8 Years’ experience in Construction/Fabrication based business
- 8 Years’ experience in Project Management
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None
Physical Demands
- Must be physically capable of confined space entry in chemical process vessels
- Able to lift 50lb as needed
- Able to climb scaffold and platforms at work locations
- Domestic and international travel required (up to 25%)
- Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM (may require some overtime and weekend work)
