Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activities.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, conducting thorough investigations as necessary.
- Utilize CCTV systems to monitor premises and maintain surveillance records.
- Enforce rules and regulations to ensure a safe environment for all individuals on-site.
- Provide assistance during emergencies, including administering first aid and CPR when required.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to report incidents or suspicious activities.
- Conduct regular inspections of security equipment and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
Skills
- Experience in law enforcement or loss prevention is highly desirable.
- Proficient in the use of CCTV systems and surveillance techniques.
- Knowledge of conflict management strategies to de-escalate potentially volatile situations.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail to identify potential security threats.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and interaction with the public.
