Job Responsibilities: What you will do
Lead the Driver Training team by coordinating with operations to ensure outstanding driver onboarding experience (from recruiter to first solo dispatch).
- Lead and motivate to improve performance and build position depth within the Driver Training Program.
- Develop, implement and revise the Driver Training process, procedures and requirements to become and maintain the Trainer certification.
- Qualify, certify and hold trainers accountable to the established requirements and track performance by using statistical analysis.
- Coordinate and actively assist Terminal management teams with matching and planning Trainer and Trainee pairings.
- Develop and implement new training program for all current and future trainers.
- Update systems/programs as appropriate
- Assess and regularly audit quality of company trainers.
- Develop and utilize reporting assess success of the training program, retention rates and the overall quality of training program.
- Implement and manage the train to Manage course. Create continuous education for all trains
- Promote Driver Training Certification and retention to help the company meet the planned growth goals.
- Implement processes to connect train performance and behavioral deficiencies through training and discipline.
- Own all processes within Driver Training Program.
- Implement programs to reduce Safety related expenses.
- Monitor the train and student fleets daily activity including accident, incidents and HOS records.
- Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.

Qualifications: What you need to bring
- 6 years' experience in employee development and/or driver development required.
- 2 years' leadership experience required.
- Bachelors in business or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Report generation
- Mathematical, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to interpret user needs and translate into system requirements.
- Ability to understand system data and to identify discrepancies
- Previous knowledge of system analytics helpful
Pay Range: $65,000- $98,000 Annual
