What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Nursing position at Knightcare Management?
A luxury, 5-star CMS rated SNF located in the Mountain View area of Santa Clara County is looking for a Director of Nursing to join their team.
This Director needs to possess the leadership ability to manage the Skilled Nursing department, while ensuring that the best possible care and services are provided for the residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading, mentoring, and providing oversight for the care team.
- Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures, as well as State and Federal regulations.
- Must have a demonstrated history of excellent survey results, good tenure.
- A hospitality mindset, as well as a customer service focused approach to care are a plus.
Required Experience and Licensing:
- Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of CA with a current license,
- At least 3 years of experience working in geriatrics as a DON or ADON. (Previous Director of Nursing experience in a SNF is strongly preferred.)
