About the Role
As we continue to expand our reach, we are looking for a Senior Accounting Manager to help advance our strategic business development goals. Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing the accounting functions of the department for multiple entertainment entities within our portfolio including, but not limited to, cash control, forecasting/budgeting, data analysis, financial reporting & systems implementation/project management. The ideal candidate will harbor an innate interest in helping to grow the accounting team to further our success.
Responsibilities:
Manages accounting for multiple entities in the gaming and entertainment industry.
Ensures accuracy of the general ledger, overseeing journal entries, accruals, recurring transactions, and monthly/quarterly closing activities performed by accounting staff.
Supervises and trains team members to ensure reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles and local, state, and federal government requirements.
Researches emerging accounting pronouncements and develops and implements accounting policies and procedures.
Organizes and ensures successful completion of quarterly inventory counts.
Provides support during financial, tax, and 401(k) audits and income tax return preparation.
Prepares and develops reports and other tools for analyzing various aspects of company performance.
Researches, analyzes, and spearheads process and system improvements to maximize organizational efficiency and improve the bottom line.
Collaborates cross-functionally and executes special ad-hoc projects as needed.
Skills & Abilities:
Stellar ability to analyze, evaluate, and compile data into concise reports and presentations.
Solid understanding of GAAP and expert-level knowledge of financial accounting principles.
Strong problem solving, multitasking and information analysis skills.
Excellent management and supervisory skills.
Prioritizes and works well under pressure to meet deadlines in dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required. CPA designation required. MBA a plus.
5-7 years of experience in corporate or public accounting with progressive advancement.
Supervisory experience directly managing team members preferred.
Experience managing organizations with minimum annual revenue of $20M preferred.
Advanced proficiency in Excel (including knowledge of pivot tables, v-lookups, and other key analytical techniques) required.
Working knowledge of NetSuite preferred.
