POSITION SUMMARY:
The Pharmacy Shipping Associate is responsible for packing and shipping prescriptions according to client specifications and is responsible for other duties assigned.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and professional pharmacy functions.
- Accurately pack and ship prescription orders for Eagle Pharmacy in a timely manner.
- Responsible for stocking freezers with gel packs.
- Follow all procedures and pack-out processes when shipping an order.
- Respect and follow HIPAA and privacy law guidelines, and any other local or federal laws.
- Follow and aid in enforcement of all company policies and procedures.
- Perform Quality Assurance checks on automated technology specific to pharmacy equipment and shipping requirements
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly work site.
- Responsible for keeping an adequate stock of boxes and supplies at shipping station.

Qualifications
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year of logistics experience
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- One (1) year of previous pharmacy experience with exposure to fulfillment of prescription orders
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Ability to lift 20lbs
- Ability to work in a standing environment
- Ability to communicate effectively, patiently, and courteously
- Ability to perform repetitious work accurately
- Ability to handle multiple activities or interruptions at once.
- Ability to learn from a variety of techniques
- Ability to follow established process flows
- Ability to work effectively in highly stressful situations, exhibiting flexibility in changing situations
- Attention to detail
- Work independently with little supervision and meet daily expectations
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Location of job activities 100% inside
- Noise and / or vibrations exposure
- Reaching (overhead), handling, and feeling
- Stand, bend, stoop and sit for prolonged periods of time
