Job Description: Project Scheduler
KNL is on the lookout for a Project Scheduler to join our team, operating directly onsite with our client. This role is key to ensuring the successful planning, execution, and delivery of operational and capital projects. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise and a collaborative mindset to contribute to high-stakes projects in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a thorough understanding of project scope and schedules in assigned areas.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure alignment with project timelines.
- Support contractor and designer schedule evaluations, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
- Track, manage, and report project schedules, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain readiness and verification schedules for project delivery.
- Analyze claims and provide recommendations based on schedule impacts.
- Coordinate data management and reporting activities to deliver timely, accurate insights.
- Facilitate communication across cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent work experience
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in scheduling projects with budgets of $30M or more, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector.
- Strong IT proficiency, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and scheduling software.
- Experience managing budgets, tracking variances, and presenting financial data.
- Familiarity with standard forms of contract and resourcing techniques.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to evaluate and present data effectively.
- Outstanding communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience with Ariba or similar purchasing systems is a plus.
