Responsibilities
- Coach and develop a small team, including ensuring their deliverables are met.
- Prepare analysis of key balance sheet assets to highlight risk and present results to Senior Management.
- Review product lines to understand business trends.
- Meet with supply chain to address external pressures and any potential impact on the business.
- Perform analysis to support business decisions.
- Work with other departments to identify business trends and economic conditions that impact key balance sheet assets.
- Review financial statement footnotes and partner with technical accounting to ensure appropriate disclosure.
- Update policies and procedures, ensure controls are appropriate and in accordance with corporate guidelines
- Review and approve journal entries to support the month end close.
- Participate in global initiatives.
