Purpose : As the Vice President of Business Development, you will be a key leader within our organization, responsible for driving revenue growth and forging strategic partnerships. You will play a critical role in expanding our market presence, identifying new business opportunities, and nurturing relationships with clients and partners. This position requires a combination of strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and a proven track record in sales and business development.
Responsibilities
- Leverage Power BI and custom reporting to develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential growth opportunities.
- Generate leads through various channels including networking, tradeshows, social media, cold calling, and leveraging existing relationships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while also expanding the client base through effective sales techniques.
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with other organizations to drive mutual business growth and create new revenue streams.
- Lead the development of proposals, pitches, and presentations tailored to the needs of prospective clients.
- Negotiate favorable terms and agreements with clients, partners, and vendors to maximize profitability and minimize risk.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to the business development team to foster professional growth and ensure alignment with company goals.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, talent acquisition and operations to ensure seamless execution of business development initiatives.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for internal Account Representatives and regularly track and report on business development metrics to senior management.
