Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Day Porter to join our team. The Day Porter will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. This position requires a proactive individual who can perform a variety of custodial and maintenance tasks efficiently throughout the day.
The required days and times for this shift are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This is a W-2 Position.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and wiping down all surfaces, including gym equipment, to ensure cleanliness and hygiene in all areas.
- Carry out custodial responsibilities such as emptying trash, cleaning restrooms, and restocking supplies.
- Engage in industrial cleaning activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is required.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Experience in facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning will be beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
