Job Summary
The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operations of all facility systems, ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing facilities operations, including electrical systems, industrial maintenance, and high voltage equipment, housekeeping and laundry departments. The Facilities Manager will work closely with various teams to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.
Duties
- Manage the day-to-day operations of facility maintenance, housekeeping/laundry and repair activities.
- Fabricate and maintain equipment as necessary to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize an Ohmmeter and other tools to troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs.
- Manage all of life safety regulatory components such as limited but not including ; fire drills, generator checks, smoke detector and sprinkler systems
- Interpret schematics to understand system layouts and facilitate effective maintenance practices.
- Oversee high voltage systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
- Maintain logic controllers and other automated systems to support facility operations.
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance tasks as needed.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas for improvement or repair.
- Ensure that all facilities management activities comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance practices and electrical systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with high voltage equipment and safety protocols associated with its operation.
- Proficient in using tools such as an Ohmmeter for troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret schematics effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with teams and contractors.
- A proactive approach to maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
