Job Summary
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the maintenance activities within the Nursing Home Facility. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure that all equipment and systems are functioning optimally. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise in HVAC systems, electrical work, sheet rock, plumbing, basic repairs. The Maintenance Supervisor will lead the maintenance department as well as housekeeping and laundry, ensuring compliance with safety standards and effective execution of maintenance tasks in a healthcare setting.
Duties
- Supervise and manage the maintenance team, providing guidance and support in daily operations.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and low/high voltage equipment, basic repairs in the facility
- Utilize schematics to troubleshoot and resolve electrical problems effectively.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and prolong equipment life.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs performed and parts used.
- Train team members on proper maintenance techniques, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules without disrupting operations.
- Experience in Healthcare environments is preferred.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a maintenance environment.
- knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical work (including high voltage), and low voltage applications.
- troubleshooting electrical issues, plumbing, basic maintenance of a building
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
