Baker Assistant
We are seeking a Baker Assistant to join our bakery team at Knott's Berry Farm.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience working in a bakery setting and be able to assist bakers with baking, plating, and measuring different items throughout the bakery.
Responsibilities:
- Perform various operations including rolling, cutting, baking, scaling, weighing, mixing, measuring, and ingredient preparation.
- Stock and maintain walk-in and reach-in refrigerators, as well as dry storage areas.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation, monitor spoilage, and reduce supply waste.
Requirements:
- Ability to identify various forms of dough and bakery ingredients.
- Able to adhere to recipes, food preparation instructions, and production guidelines.
- Knowledge of basic bakery and pastry production techniques.
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
- Ability to pass a background check if 18 years or older.
