Knott’s Berry Farm Entertainment is casting versatile and dynamic DANCERS (WHO CAN SING) to perform onstage at the world-famous Bird Cage Theatre. Miss Cameo Kate’s Western Burle-Q Revue is an all-singin', all dancin' musical extravaganza not to be missed. An ideal candidate has musical theatre dance and singing experience. A high energy Can-Can dance routine will be taught at the audition. Flexibility and splits are required. Please wear appropriate dance attire and either ballroom or character shoes. Please bring a recent photo and performance resume. Rehearsals begin at the end of May 2025. Rehearsal dates are subject to change. The show opens on June 13, 2025 and runs through September 1, 2025. Casting will prioritize offers for talent who can commit to all performance dates that run multiple days a week. This role is compensated at a rate of $20.65/hr.

Per the director’s discretion, select candidates will be asked to return in the afternoon for a singer call-back. Please prepare 16-bars of a musical theater song selection and bring appropriate sheet music. An accompanist will be provided. Please be prepared to stay until 5pm.

Please park in the Western Employee parking lot (8189 Western Ave. Buena Park, CA 90620) located between La Palma and Crescent on Western Ave. Proceed to Western Gate Park Entrance where a Knott’s Berry Farm audition representative will escort applicants to the audition area.

Responsibilities:

  • Using your talents to enrich Knott’s Berry Farm’s atmosphere for guests
  • Working as a member of a team to achieve overall atmosphere and goals set by Entertainment leadership and show directors
  • Consistently performing your role as scripted and/or conceived
  • Remaining in character while "on‑stage” and in view of guests and interact with guests while performing in a professional and artistic manner
  • Providing guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions, and giving accurate directions
  • Maintaining cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision
  • Meeting scheduling availability requirements that include nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Fulfilling attendance requirements as outlined in Cedar Fair's attendance policies
  • Adhering to Cedar Fair's Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures
  • Performing other duties as they are assigned

Qualifications:

  • Availability to work all assigned rehearsal and event dates that include weekday/weekends nights and holidays
  • Dance experience (required)
  • Willingness and ability to wear heavy make‑up for extended periods of time
  • Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, and DMV
  • Ability to provide record of previous employment, education, and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law
