About the Role
This critical position is responsible for fostering a positive work environment and upholding standard operating procedures to ensure the department aligns with park and corporate standard operating guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ride operations, safety protocols, and guest experience principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Ride Operations: Develop and implement effective ride operations strategies to ensure maximum efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Safety and Risk Management: Identify potential safety risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize incidents.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of Ride Operations professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their responsibilities.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree in Business or Hospitality Management preferred.
- Experience: At least 6-8 years of prior, relevant work experience; 5 years of leadership/management experience.
- Certifications: iROC and Trainer certification (will provide training).
- Skills: Strong initiative, sound judgement, and commitment to working with people from all backgrounds and cultures required. Knowledge of Microsoft and Adobe office programs essential.
