Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and friendly Hotel Concierge to provide exceptional guest service at Knott's Berry Farm.
The ideal candidate will greet guests in a professional manner, unload luggage, deliver items to rooms, and act as a runner for the Front Office as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, unloading luggage and delivering it to rooms, and acting as a runner for the Front Office as needed.
- Operate hotel shuttles, vans, limousines, carts, and other vehicles, providing transportation for guests and maintaining cleanliness of the vehicles.
- Supply guests with travel information, including transportation routes, schedules, and arrange taxi services as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of work locations, complete property walks, and ensure the hotel perimeter is well-maintained.
- Clean and maintain service vehicles, reporting any issues or needs to management.
- Secure and arrange the transfer of packages and meeting supplies to designated areas, tagging articles and recording information for outgoing freight or packages.
- Arrange cleaning, laundry, or repair services for guest clothing and items, computing charges and communicating them to the front desk for inclusion in the guest folio.
- Provide exceptional guest service according to Knott's Berry Farm standards, initiating interactions, answering questions, and giving directions.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned work areas, adhering to Six Flags Safety guidelines and reporting any unsafe conditions to supervision.
- Meet scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods, to meet business needs.
- Comply with Cedar Fair's attendance requirements, adhering to Six Flags' attendance policies.
- Adhere to Six Flags' Rules of Conduct, including specific costuming and grooming standards outlined in Employee Guidelines and park-specific policies.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 6 months to 1 year of related experience in a guest-oriented position.
- Must have a valid Class B California Driver's License and be at least 18 years old.
- Able to meet scheduling and availability policies and requirements.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
- Pass a mandatory drug test and background check, if applicable.
