Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and technically proficient Technical Sales Representative to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes and products, combined with exceptional sales and customer service skills. This role is responsible for generating new business, managing existing accounts, and providing technical guidance to customers to ensure optimal product solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within assigned territory or industry segment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Conduct presentations and demonstrations of company products to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue growth targets.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms in alignment with company policies.
- Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential leads through various channels, including ConstuctConnect and SpecLink.
Technical Support & Product Knowledge:
- Provide technical expertise and support to customers, ensuring they select the best solutions for their needs.
- Stay up to date on product specifications, manufacturing processes, and industry trends.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address customer inquiries and customization requests.
- Conduct product training for customers and internal sales teams as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality & protect Knotwood’s intellectual property at all times.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, understanding their pain points and offering tailored solutions.
- Maintain regular communication with key accounts to drive customer satisfaction and retention.
- Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and effectively.
- Attend & participate in Trade Shows to create interest in Knotwood.
Reporting & Performance Tracking:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and forecasts in CRM systems, which include HubSpot.
- Prepare reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity.
- Work closely with the Sales Manager to align on targets and strategies.
- Look for ways to improve company profitability.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
