We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our field service team. In this role, you will perform installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial refrigeration systems, ensuring efficient and safe operation. Responsibilities
- Maintenance & Repair: Perform diagnostic checks, repairs, and routine maintenance on commercial refrigerators, freezers, and ice machines.
- Troubleshooting: Identify root causes of refrigeration system malfunctions and provide effective solutions.
- Component Replacement: Repair or replace faulty parts such as compressors, condensers, and evaporators.
- Inspections: Conduct routine inspections to verify system efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
- Installation: Install new refrigeration systems according to specifications and best practices.
- Record-Keeping: Maintain detailed records of all services performed, including repairs, inspections, and installations.
- Customer Service: Address customer questions and concerns, demonstrating professionalism and clear communication.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience as a Refrigeration Technician or in a similar HVAC/R role.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of HVAC/R systems, components, and commercial refrigeration equipment.
- Diagnostic Skills: Ability to effectively troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
- Tools & Equipment: Proficiency in using industry-standard tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent attention to detail and the ability to devise effective, long-lasting solutions.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Independence & Teamwork: Comfortable working autonomously or collaborating within a team.
- Communication: Strong verbal skills for clear interaction with customers and team members.
- Welding: Welding experience is a plus, but not required.
