SUMMARY:
Ensures efficient production processes by maintaining mechanics’ time cards, answering phone calls, questions, and requests, producing reports, processing service orders, and filing and organizing reports.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following

Prepares work orders as assigned to be given to mechanics.
- Performs reconciliation of outdated purchase orders and then sends them to storage area for safekeeping.
- Processes electric bills by assigning account numbers, making copies, and sending documents to appropriate plants.
- Records mechanics labor by processing time cards submitted by mechanics.
- Tracks assets by assigning numbers to designated property.
- Enter orders for approved projects and update database system to create work order forms.
- Informs employees by distributing the weekly mechanic work and production schedule.
- Manages ‘Interplant’ and miscellaneous shipments by administering the transfer of items from one inventory to another.
- Records assets by filing and distributing work order reports.
- Ensures mechanics safety by replacing damaged ‘lock out’ tag and posting updated tags onto the machine.
- Informs and answers questions by answering telephone calls and email regarding asset, production, and employee problems and issues.
- Contributes to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Contributes to the company effort by continually looking for ways to improve productivity and customer orientation within department by use of better technology, procedures, and use of resources.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge/skills by using the performance appraisal system to access personal strengths and development needs to accomplish the strategic goals of the organization.

Essential knowledge, skills, abilities, and experiences:
- Requires know that is acquired through a high school degree or its equivalent in experience.
- Knowledge of office procedures, methods and computer including spreadsheet applications.
- Ability to communicate in English and understand information one-on-one and in small groups.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
