Job Title: Behavior Technician / RBT
Location: In Home & /or In School
Terms: Part Time
Salary/Rate: $15 - $25 DOE & certification status
Requirements:
Complete 40 hours of training in order to receive the Registered Behavior Technician Certification.
Provide a consistent schedule that you are available to provide therapy services.
About the Position:
Behavior Technicians work under the supervision and direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. You will work closely with families, clients and staff to improve the lives of our clients and families.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate understanding of basic ABA principles and terminology (post training).
Implement intervention as determined by supervising BCBA.
Collect ongoing and detailed data.
Follow Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) and all other programming put in place by the BCBA.
Uphold and follow companies policies and procedures
Be familiar with and maintain compliance with BACB Ethical Code
Communicate regularly with team members, including other therapists and BCBAs assigned to client(s).
Maintain consistent communication with families/caregivers while maintaining ethical boundaries.
Provide services in home, daycare, school, community or clinic settings.
Comply with all HIPAA regulations and practice ethical billing.
Utilize an online scheduling and data collection platform.
Check email regularly and respond in a timely manner.
Attend all required meetings and training.
Candidate Requirements:
Maintain reliable transportation and insurance.
Able to lift at least 40lbs
Able to perform activities that entail fine & gross motor skills, bending knees, squatting, sitting on floor level or in a chair, or standing for periods of time.
Ability to respond swiftly & engage in rapid movement to ensure the safety and supervision of individuals, including brisk walking or running when necessary.Preferred experience working with children and individuals with disabilities.

High school diploma, bachelor's degree is preferred.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
