Job Description
Job Title : BCBA
Location : Tennessee, Georgia, Nebraska (This position is specific to TN unless open to Telehealth in other states)
Terms : Part time moving to Full Time
Salary / Rate : Part time : $70 / billable hour (this is all inclusive - no non-billable time is paid separately)
Full time : $78,000 -$90,000 (to be evaluated and increased once the following criteria have been met consistently)
About the Position :
BCBAs work under the supervision and support of our Clinical Director, Alicia Helbig. Know Boundaries is dedicated to providing a supportive and fun work environment at a company that provides exceptional services to every family in our care.
Responsibilities :
Provide effective and supportive supervision to all Behavior Therapists and Registered Behavior Therapists (RBTs) working on your teams, including reviewing all session notes
Assist in the implementation of ongoing feedback and training for staff members at Know Boundaries
Facilitate and assist in the development and identification of resources and support information for clients and their families.
Provide model teaching and other direct instructional support including, but not limited to, practicum supervision / teaching, class instruction and in-service instruction to other support professionals
Complete assessments, reassessments and functional behavior assessments in a timely manner
Develop appropriate behavior strategies to reduce maladaptive behaviors and increase functional behaviors
Develop programming based off of assessments to increase skills and independence.
Collect and monitor ongoing data
Update programs based on data
Develop Behavior Intervention Plans when necessary and train everyone involved with the client on that plan
Conduct supervision and family training on a regular basis
Meet as needed with supervised staff to discuss ongoing consumer issues and to provide support when necessary
Provide consultation services and maintain ongoing communication with all constituents (other supports, parents, community, and community agencies)
Keep current with the literature, new research findings and resources. In addition, continuing education courses to maintain BCBA certification are necessary
Maintain productivity requirements (250 therapist hours billed under BCBA per week)
Complete all session notes and convert as well as respond to emails within 24 hours
Communicate with scheduling and other administrative staff as needed
Attend weekly BCBA meetings
Complete BCBA Monthly Meeting Note and review with supervisor monthly
Perform other duties as assigned
Candidate Requirements :
Maintain a full time caseload
Maintain reliable transportation and insurance
Able to lift at least 40lbs.
Masters degree in ABA
Professional written and verbal communication skills
