What You’ll Do:

• Inspect and test electro-mechanical equipment to diagnose issues
• Perform electrical testing using advanced tools (Megger, Surge, HI-Pot)
• Conduct mechanical inspections on sleeve-bearing machines
• Perform on-site diagnostics including vibration analysis and shaft alignments
• Create and submit detailed technical reports on completed work
• Communicate findings clearly and professionally with customers
• Represent HECO with professionalism and integrity at every job site

What We’re Looking For:

• 2 years of experience in electric motor field service or millwright work
• Strong mechanical aptitude—experience with rotating equipment is a plus!
• Team player with great communication skills
• Fast learner who thrives in a high-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with strong technical and reporting abilities
• Willingness to travel up to 40% (including overnight stays)
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs
• Capable of standing, stooping, kneeling, and bending for long periods
• Willing to work in all weather conditions and industrial environments
• Able to perform manual labor for 12 hours when needed

Experience:

• Electrical: 2 years (Required)
• Industrial mechanic: 4 years (Required)
• Attention to detail: 5 years (Required)

Ability to Commute:
