What You’ll Do:

• Inspect & test electro-mechanical equipment to diagnose issues
• Perform electrical tests using advanced tools like Megger, Surge, and HI-Pot
• Conduct mechanical inspections on sleeve-bearing machines
• Perform on-site analysis, including electrical testing, vibration analysis, and shaft alignments
• Create and submit detailed reports on completed work
• Communicate findings to customers in a clear and professional manner
• Represent HECO with integrity and professionalism on every job site

What We’re Looking For:

• 2 years of experience in electric motor field service OR millwright experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude – experience with rotating equipment is a plus!
• Team player with solid communication skills
• Quick learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with strong technical reporting skills
• Willing to travel (~40%), including overnight stays
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Physical Requirements:

• Lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs
• Stand, stoop, kneel, and bend for extended periods
• Work in various weather conditions and challenging environments
• Perform manual labor for 12 hours per day when required
