What You’ll Do:

• Dismantle and Inspect Equipment: Work on various types of rotating equipment, including electric motors, gearboxes, and pumps.
• Analyze Equipment for Future Performance: Perform detailed analysis of dismantled parts to ensure optimal performance and identify improvements.
• Material Requests and Assembly: Manage materials needed for repairs and handle the assembly process for different equipment.
• Mechanical & Electrical Testing: Conduct both mechanical and electrical testing to ensure equipment functions as expected.
• Assemble & Test: Reassemble equipment and perform outgoing tests to ensure it meets the highest standards.
• Accurate Documentation: Maintain clear and accurate documentation for all steps throughout the repair process.
• Safety Focus: Rig and lift large pieces of equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Field Service: When required, perform on-site field service at industrial facilities to complete repairs and maintenance.
• Other Duties: Carry out any additional tasks assigned to support the team and company objectives.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5 years of mechanical repair experience (Industrial experience preferred) and assembling critical motors.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with an ability to troubleshoot and solve complex issues.
• Skills for assembly motors 500-6000HP sleeve bearing motors.
• DC experience up to 2000HP would be great. Synchronous motor experience would be great.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and report on work progress.
• Commitment to safety—you understand the importance of working safely and always following safety protocols.
• A detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality in everything you do.
• Experience with Motor base and QM Wizard software is a plus.

Additional Details:

• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (8-hour shifts), with overtime, on-call, and weekend availability based on demand.
• Location: Garden City, GA (10 minutes outside Savannah) in a BRAND NEW FACILTY
• Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour, based on experience.

Additional Information:

• Employment offer is contingent upon successful drug screening, background check, and driving record check.
• Full-time position with opportunities for overtime when needed.
