Role Overview:
As a Project Manager, you will oversee project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, accounting, and quality compliance. You will manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee contractual, planning, and budget aspects during construction
- Relationship Building: Foster positive relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and clients to ensure satisfaction
- Team Leadership: Lead project teams, including superintendents and subcontractors, ensuring timely and budget-compliant work
- Reporting: Prepare and submit weekly progress reports and participate in conference calls
- Permitting & Contracts: Coordinate permits, review design documents, and negotiate contract agreements
- Construction Phase Administration: Manage bid analysis, submittal reviews, and RFI processes
- Performance Monitoring: Ensure contractor adherence to agreements and monitor performance
- Bid Assistance: Review bid documents and support bidder solicitation activities
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5 years in project management within commercial construction
- Education: Degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Skills:
- Proficient in reading contracts, plans, and specifications
- Strong understanding of AIA requisitions, project budgets, and schedules
- Tech-savvy with excellent electronic reporting capabilities
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Familiarity with Timberline and Procore is a plus
- Outstanding time management abilities
