Expertise in field instrumentation, control systems, and fire alarm systems is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls (E&IC) Manager in maintaining safe and compliant operations
- Participate in commissioning activities for new or modified production units
- Design and implement new equipment and control loops
- Assist the maintenance team with ITPM and MRO activities
- Troubleshoot system and process issues, collaborating with Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations teams
- Become a subject matter expert in assigned process areas, exercising E&IC engineering judgment
- Serve as a deputy for power supply tasks (480V and higher equipment)
- Specialize in Fire Alarm and Protection Systems (hardware and programming)
What We Need From You:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, Controls Engineering, or Chemical Engineering
- 3 years of experience in I&C plant engineering, maintenance, or project engineering (candidates with less experience will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis)
- Strong technical knowledge in electrical engineering, instrumentation, and controls, including relevant standards and regulations
- Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus
- Familiarity with 480V equipment, motors, and motor control centers (MCCs)
- Preferred experience with Emerson Delta V, SAP EAM, Functional Safety, and Comos
- Knowledge of Fire Alarm Systems (hardware and programming) is a plus
- Ability to thrive under pressure with scheduling and cost constraints
