Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute both short- and long-term maintenance strategies that align with our company values and drive operational efficiency.
- Safety Leadership:
- Set safety goals and create actionable plans to maintain a secure work environment within the Maintenance Department.
- Maintenance Program Development:
- Design and implement a comprehensive Plant Maintenance Program based on industry best practices to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.
- Team Oversight:
- Supervise, inspect, and guide maintenance work to ensure the use of current technologies and optimal maintenance practices.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to all corporate, state, and federal safety, health, and environmental policies and regulations.
- Performance Monitoring:
- Manage and analyze maintenance department KPIs to evaluate operating efficiency and identify opportunities for performance improvement.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Minimum of a 2-year technical degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience:
- Over 10 years of maintenance experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing setting, with specific experience in corrugated packaging.
- Leadership:
- Proven ability to lead a team with a strong commitment to safety and high work standards.
- Problem-Solving:
- Excellent skills in troubleshooting and root cause analysis to implement preventative measures.
- Budget & Planning:
- Experience with budget management and strategic planning.
- Operational Flexibility:
- Must be able to work in a 24/7 operational environment.
- Communication:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
