- OSHA certification is preferred but not required
- 2 year technical degree or higher in Maintenance discipline
What you'll be doing:
- Assist and provide direction to craftsmen with equipment troubleshooting to mitigate downtime
- Monitor and approve inventory orders to control storeroom spend according to planned budget
- Ensure compliance and proper use of parts and equipment according to preferred maintenance practices
- Oversee craftsmen’s compliance with corporate, division, plant safety and environmental rules and procedures
- Utilize J.D. Edwards CMMS to lead craftsmen in reliability efforts of precision, predictive, and preventive maintenance for annual budget planning
- Manage all parts and tool inventories to ensure necessary repairs are completed within minimal equipment downtime
- Schedule all work through job priority and equipment availability to ensure all work is completed in a timely manner
- Lead development and implementation of continuous process improvement of reliability plans in the plant
- Demonstrate ownership of business and management goals by effectively leading craftsmen to align on objectives
- Lead safety efforts by identifying high-risk situations, conducting safety meetings, and coordinating maintenance related safety activities
