The Pediatric ICU Nurse Practitioner provides care to patients with a moderate to high complexity of disease such as those recovering from solid organ transplantation, requiring non-invasive mechanical ventilation including BIPAP, CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, titration of anticoagulant therapy, and post-operative specialty surgery care (ENT, neurosurgery).
Requirements
Nurse Practitioner INurse Practitioner II
Nurse Practitioner I
- Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience working as an RN in a Pediatric ICU or Pediatric Acute Care setting. Applicants without PICU RN experience will be trained to cover Transitional Care only
- Master’s Degree in Nursing with an Acute Care pediatric nurse practitioner specialization
Nurse Practitioner II
- Minimum of six (6) months PICU or Pediatric Acute Care NP experience. NPs without PICU experience will be trained to cover TCUP only
