- Spearhead IPG's proprietary DUV optical coating program, developing new thin film coatings and production protocols
- Collaborate across teams to ensure the success of product development and continuous improvement
- Design, evaluate, and implement coatings such as anti-reflective, high-reflective, beam splitters, and filters for UV and IR applications
- Drive innovative coating solutions using cutting-edge technologies like Ion Beam Sputtering, Electron Beam deposition, and thermal evaporation
- Communicate R&D progress through reports and presentations, ensuring transparency with internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Science/Engineering, with expertise in thin film, optics, or materials science
- Expertise in Ion Beam Sputtering, Electron Beam deposition, Ion-Assisted Deposition, and advanced vacuum coating technologies
- Proven experience in UV and deep-UV coatings, with a deep understanding of material interactions
