Job Description
The Senior Environmental Sustainability Manager will oversee all environmental policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with State and Federal regulations across all locations. This role is pivotal in maintaining a safe and sustainable work environment through meticulous attention to detail and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the Environmental Management System (EMS) to ensure facility adherence to regulations.
• Oversee the operation, compliance, and reporting of the facility's Wastewater Treatment System.
• Supervise the disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials.
• Evaluate alternative disposal options, schedule activities, maintain records, ensure certifications, and conduct training.
• Lead ongoing sustainability efforts to achieve targeted environmental improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Ability to read and interpret environmental and safety regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software with excellent computer skills.
• High-level verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years in an Environmental Specialist role or a similar position within a heavy manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Health and Safety, or a related field is required.
