Job Description
The Senior Environmental Sustainability Manager will oversee all environmental policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with State and Federal regulations across all locations. This role is pivotal in maintaining a safe and sustainable work environment through meticulous attention to detail and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Environmental Management System (EMS) to ensure facility adherence to regulations.
- Oversee the operation, compliance, and reporting of the facility's Wastewater Treatment System.
- Supervise the disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials.
- Evaluate alternative disposal options, schedule activities, maintain records, ensure certifications, and conduct training.
- Lead ongoing sustainability efforts to achieve targeted environmental improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to read and interpret environmental and safety regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software with excellent computer skills.
- High-level verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Qualifications:
