Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead the deployment, commissioning, and enhancement of industrial processing systems. In this dynamic, field-based role, you will be responsible for on-site engineering support, staff training, process improvements, and technical problem resolution for high-profile manufacturing projects. This position requires excellent analytical skills, a strong background in process optimization, and readiness for significant international travel.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee the on-site installation, start-up, and commissioning of complex industrial systems.
- Act as the primary engineering point-of-contact during project rollouts, coordinating efforts and ensuring successful system launches.
- Innovate and refine equipment designs, operational techniques, and process enhancements.
- Deliver comprehensive training programs for customers and prepare thorough documentation to support system operations.
- Mentor new hires on best practices and company procedures related to industrial systems.
- Serve as a technical consultant, offering expert advice on system operation, troubleshooting, and process refinement.
- Generate regular progress updates, travel summaries, and detailed project reports.
- Plan and manage the logistics for system erection and commissioning activities.
- Provide ongoing technical support and strategic recommendations for process improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a high level of international travel (up to 60%), often involving extended assignments.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience in process engineering or operations management within industrial processing systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical schematics, vendor documentation, and maintenance manuals.
- Demonstrated experience working directly with industrial equipment and an aptitude for on-site problem solving.
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities and a proactive approach to process optimization.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD (or a commitment to learning the software).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, shifting environment while managing multiple projects concurrently.
- Exceptional communication skills for conveying complex technical information clearly.
- Flexibility to travel internationally up to 60% for prolonged periods.

- Background in combustion management systems and/or molten metal processing.
