Key Qualifications
- Professional Credentials:Must hold a CPA or JD.
- Experience Level:Current Partner/Principal, Senior Manager, or Director with a track record in practice development and leadership.
- Technical Skills:Proficient with various accounting software and financial data analysis.
- Interpersonal & Leadership Skills:Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and team management abilities.
- Business Development:Demonstrated experience in developing practice areas and cultivating new client relationships.
- Primary Responsibilities
- Engagement & Workflow Management:Oversee all engagements and staffing assignments within your group.
- Ensure high-quality deliverables by reviewing and signing off on all work before client submission.
- Technical & Business Acumen:Analyze financial data and make informed business decisions.
- Exhibit advanced technical competence and professionalism at all times.
- Team Leadership & Performance:Manage and mentor all team members, including conducting semi-annual performance reviews.
- Develop policies and procedures to enhance productivity and profitability without compromising team morale.
- Client Relationship & Development:Strengthen existing client relationships and actively seek new business opportunities.
- Maintain open communication with clients through regular check-ins, meetings, and networking events.
- Billing & Financial Oversight:Prepare client billings, monitor receivables, and ensure timely collections.
- Community & Industry Engagement:Represent the firm in public forums, industry events, and civic engagements.
- Leverage external relationships with bankers, attorneys, and industry groups to broaden the firm’s network.
- Firm Collaboration:Work closely with internal teams to ensure effective service delivery and resource allocation.
- Participate in firm-wide training, marketing, and business development initiatives.
